the tears on my eyelids, are fake
the ruffled frowns, but a facade
perhaps the pitiful story too, might just be another plead for attention
let freeze the heart that receives thee
might the sorrowful sigh turn harsh in disappointment
let those who cared, fade in opacity
my heart no longer embraces hope, nor faith, nor chance
even fear and trepidity vanished long ago
