after 4 races, vindy has finally won the harvestmath race, and exchanged her horse. well it’s not totally pretty, but well for the novelty of it.
and thel now has the same pretty cloak, yay.

real run
woot jax finished 15 km, though jax had stitches for a good part and it was hard to run.
but it’s a good new distance. makes 21km feel possible. just walk more.
but why was it so darn hot this morning. i feel baked.

after two weeks of intense farming for Exceptional Hides [i think i farmed like 1000], and buying many more [probably 500 more], and spending 10 gold thereabouts on tools and such, Vindy is now Grand Master Tailor! Twas a long and expensive time. But anyway now we’ve got a house we can share and decorate and store things, and spend money on upkeep. Im glad a stack of travelling rations cost 80silver instead of 100s. good rebate.

of course the Singapour governement gave the exact response which everyone expected them to give. but it wasn’t a futile exercise. i do believe some progress has been made in the extent of social acceptance of gay sex and all. afterall, there wasn’t even any/much discussion on the gays per se.

hm lunchtalk with jax over the physical properties of cappuccino foam. im surprised that it should be due to proteins. i did not imagine that proteins would be denatured so easily, or that they would be of sufficient size to maintain the little bubbles. but i guess it consistency and persistency of the foam does [...]
