Carrefour in Chongqing had a sale, and then people queued up from 4 am, and there was a stompede and 3 people were stomped to death. wow. to buy rapeseed oil for cooking

at least if i end up in china i know of somewhere to get a dependable food supply

    We could dismiss it lightly, as after all it’s got nothing to so with us. We could ponder the causes of such a phenomenon [if you will call it that] and might even arrive at some conclusions. But neither would change anything. They’ve had such a long time to evolve as a society. Maybe it’s time to start going extinct. Or perhaps this is actually the decline of the Chinese civilisation. Shrug.
