*wonders* about
what flight to take
having to get all the visa documents (in 4 – 5 copies)
the amazingly expensive visa
and darn social security
when to come back
whether i can afford to go to the cafes (or how many times a week)
how much i have to pay for internet access
hoping I can manage to find enough modules to take… ugh. *headache*
yay for nus sponsored money

double yay for NASA grant! (kinda silly name though)
at least, you wont end up like me, finding out that i can only take 3 modules here. bleahh.
i think i am probably the only person in the world that would not check out the number of modules i can take before even applying for an exchange.
NASA gave me a surprisingly large amount of money. *grinz* better not post the amount online.
Hey we have to map our modules first before/during the NUS application lor, it’s such a headache.
And then as of now UPMC approved 5 modules (out of 10), and NUS approved maybe 4-5. After overlaps, I think there are 3 modules I can take there that will be credited. I think I will go work on it more after that exams. 3 modules is too scary, afraid I might fail something.
yeahh. NUS approved over 5 modules for me when i was mapping them before i left!!
hmm. fail!?! . . . at the most is U. =P though that seems very impossible. its very hard to U something.
although, ur right, 3 modules is really scary. especially when each mod’s grade depends on one 5000 word essay and nothing else.
but the french system is different. the students only need to pass 10 out of 20 modules a year to get through. so they get failed easily. which is terrible for us. =( previous students have failed before. often enough
one 5000 word essay and nothing else? hm that’s not nice
wow. they sure are harsh on their students those french ppl.
yeah. they dont give marks for class participation here. no tests either. well. maybe coz i’m taking higher level modules. i’ve got only one exam =P my other 2 modules’ grades are solely dependent on my essay.
