The strikes in France enter their 6th day, which is rather impressive. The commuters are getting extremely frustrated with the transport unions/workers. Therefore yesterday (Sunday) they held a strike of their own, to protest against the transport strikes. How cool is that. «le privé vache à lait du public, ça suffit, halte aux privilèges» «stop à la grève»
But that’s not stopping the transport unions, and now some government agencies, plus the university student unions, and I think legal department too from holding strikes of their own. All to protest against some new law or policy of their own. I think even some private company worker unions as well. It’s amazing.
I’m starting to wonder how am I going to get from my hostel to my faculty when there’s a strike (most probably there’ll be some). It’s like across Paris centre.
Maybe I should visit a nuclear power plant too. I haven’t seen one, and they’ve got so many in France .
