I was reading StraitsTimes, and they had a small article on the sad tourists who arrive in Paris only to face the cold wind and dearth of public transport. [hey i like the word dearth] There were some people who were trying to get to Versailles. That’s impressive, coz Versailles is this huge palace that’s outside Paris centre. It’s probably like in Johor if you’re in Orchard Road. It’s impossible to get there without public transport, unless they get lucky and find a cab, which would be expensive. But Versailles in the cold weather?? omg it’s like how are you going to walk in the fantastic garden and lake.
Anyway I was peering at the picture in the newspaper article, and I saw this link www.stop la greve.com. Ooh so the anti-strike movement has their own website. Another testament to their frequency of strikes and superb citizen movements.
