Paris Métro Tickets

I saw this picture online in ‘Le Figaro’ (french newspaper) yesterday, and I think it’s really nicely taken. It’s so pretty. Unfortunately it’s copyrighted and all so I can’t steal it, but I like it alot. Haha. Reminds me of buying carnets (10s) of those tickets. I think they’re cute, a nice small card. A fun size too. And those small and expensive 2 euro coins. Anyway the articles is about SNCF and RATP reimbursing commuters for the public transport downtime during the strike. Apparently they’ll get discounts on January monthly tickets.

This image is real nice too, again it’s from Le Figaro. This was during the strike, when they found many new ways to get to work. I feel that they’re very pro and responsible cyclists. The cyclist in the foreground is wearing the bright orange safety vest, like wow wwhere did she get that. And the other cyclist on the small bike, imagine wearing a coat and scarf and pedalling on those tiny wheels in the big city. Notice also his small reflective band around his ankle. Another safety thingy. Unfortunately it costs like 5 euro or 10 euro or something like that, I was rather tempted to buy one. Anyway those people can make cycling and motorbiking look cool.

Next I went to search for other interesting photos of the Métro tickets. Here’s the amazing thing I found. This amazingly bored person decided to do origami with those tickets. I suppose he spent too much time on the metro and collected many tickets. It’s amazing that he managed to make a X-wing and a Millenium Falcon out of that tiny thing.
