T’was this article about insanely rich japanese people splurging huge sums of money on extremely expensive goods, like $10,000 drinks or something, amongst Rolls-Royce Phantoms and Ferraris and $800 spas and others. It also mentioned Bottega Veneta, which I first encountered as at Takashimaya where there was this ultra cool advertisement. Apparently Bottega Veneta’s items sell for higher prices than Louis Vuitton. o.m.g. I wouldn’t mind something for my birthday, although it’s already over, pity.
In other news, Lamborghini has this new car that’s inspired by the F-22 Raptor fighter jet. Retails for 1 million euro. Supposed to be their most powerful and expensive car so far. Apparently only 20 to be built and all 20 have been reserved. I need to go and get used to left-hand drive. Only left-hand drive available. I like the cockpit-like dashboard too. It actually looks much less boxy than other Lambos. But Ferraris are still prettier.
