germany on strike

Meteorologists at Germany’s national weather service and pollsters from the central statistics office joined teachers, bankers and sanitation workers in a wave of warning strikes across the public service sector on Thursday.

that sounds really funny, meteorologists and pollsters. haha. teachers, bankers, sanitation workers. sounds like the entire entire public service is on strike. and in Berlin the public transport is down. plus flights being cancelled and all that. hm.

i’m glad im not going germany anytime soon. so far france (or rather paris) has been pretty decent. not that there aren’t any strikes, but they haven’t affected me.
