2nd trip to the funny building, yeah the 5th level (upper level of the actual museum space) is so much nicer than the 4th. Kandinsky’s works look nice.
like this thingy. they actually really look nice, seriously, compared to some ‘no-comment’ works around, and other ‘i can do this on Photoshop, no, Microsoft Paint’ works.
and then we reached the Picasso area, but i only managed to glance at one before the museum closed. bother. but now i have good reasons to go back there, yay.

interestingly these two are the more easily digested pieces around. perhaps it’s a rite of passage to walk past the black splashes of paint and all, just to feel like you’re in a modern art kinda mood. anyway levels 4+5 of Centre Georges Pompidou = national museum of modern art.
and the café ‘Georges’ at the 6th level sells 150€ caviar. well.
