bonne journée

it’s just such a nice feeling to be able to say “merci, au revoir” to immigration officers and shopkeepers. i mean, after all those ‘grumpy’ looking people in poland. well the not-grumpy ones are the english speakers who are catered to tourists.

on my RER B back from CDG to Paris, yet again i did not meet any conductor, drats another 8,20€ wasted, but i met the beggar-ress who comes along and puts a slip of paper beside you soliciting for donations. welll, what is surprising is that i do not take the RERs frequently, perhaps 8 times so far, and the last time i encountered this was 2 years ago. And i have not encountered any conductors. so i should conclude that there are more beggars than conductors. there are like so many trains throughout the day, and quite a few lines. interesting nonetheless. it made me feel very much at home actually.

those !@#$% people really should clean up after their dogs.

i am also rather unhappy that i do not live near to a decent sized park or any nice running area that’s >2km long. anyway i advanced another metro stop during my run today, hopefully i can run to Châtelet by May, bloody slope though.

j’aime parler en français, lentement. en fait, je ne l’utilise pas beaucoup.

I went running today too! Feel so unfit after not running for so long… I realised Promenade Plantée is much longer than I thought it was :p
