hell that title really caught my attention. now how to translate it..hm dum dum.. = “puzzle” or “brainteaser”. the chinese puzzle. [it came from a DirectSoir article. french free newspaper]
i suppose you (do you?) know that during the lighting ceremony of the Olympic Flame, there were 3 journalists from Reporters Without Borders who unfurled a banner to protest the Tibet issue. the footage of that, well it was done right in front of the tv cameras, was censored in the centre country, china. do i need to mention that this is a human rights protest issue going on regarding a bloody and deadly crackdown of Tibetian rioters. anyway it’s a big problem with heads of states having to comment on whether they support or do not support a boycott of the olympic games 2008. Mr Nicolas Sarkozy the french president stayed away from the debate for awhile, until the domestic groups complained about his silence and forced him to do something. So now he says that a boycott of the opening ceremony is possible. i guess the creators of the “Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen“, the basis of the French Revolution, are rather concerned about it. sigh. as junfeng says, hopefully they dont think we’re Chinese.
