and I finally went to get my 3G starhub sim card today. let’s start by congratulating the customer service. firstly they gave me a $100 voucher for my phone when i bought it, then they answered all my calls nicely. and today when i went to the customer service centre, the queue-number-giving guy handled my case and did all the stuff necessary to give me my SIM card, instead of giving me a queue number and passing me on. which meant that i got to skip the queue! i guess it was coz there was hardly anyone arriving to get queue numbers and he was free to help, and if i had queued normally it would take longer. interestingly the guy behind me asked for a queue number, the staff said it will take 30mins for the queue and he could do it for him, but the guy took the number anyway. alright.
so whatever, the important thing is that now i can (1) make video calls. somewhat lag. but hey video for the same price as audio. (2) i can watch Olympics on my 3/3.5G starhub post-paid phoneline. yipee. all 6 olympics channels. this is so killing my phone battery i tell you. quite respectable quality too. great. if only i had those Omnia-sized screens. jx is so anti-singtel now.
