took out my Rotring Newton to play. It’s a descendant of the Rotring 600 series, although the older ones looked real technical and evil. This one is rather pretty and chromey. Pity that it is only available in medium nib, i think i would prefer a fine nib. still, it is a gift from zera.
actually i just realised that it sorta resembles the pentel technica-x mechanical pencil, one of mine is still with jeremy and the other is perhaps somewhere at home i havent been using my pencils in awhile. [sample image]
kinda tempted to get a fine nib or even extra fine. perhaps a simple Lamy Safari which isnt too expensive. the transparent one is still quite cute. Waterman Expert also quite nice, tho more expensive. i wish i had money.
at some point i was also collecting mechanical pencils. should continue. Parker Esprit Carbon pencil looks nice. Parker Executive Quattro Matt Black Multipen also lovely. ok must stop window shopping. Waterman Perspective.
