introducing my latest indulgence: ze Waterman Expert II fountain pen in matte black with a Fine nib. such a delight to write with it.
surprised myself by spending all my takashimaya vouchers and more. definitely much much prettier than the lamy safari which is only like $46. although i like the lamy 2000 very much too. this doesnt lose out to it.
loves the matte black feel. not too glossy/shiny/bright. i guess a more classy pen might be good too. hell. the lamy 2000 clip is very nice too. same as the lamy accents. like them. Fine nib is simply just right for me. i still need to write a little bigger and more legibly, but medium is intolerable, sadly, which means my Rotring needs to hibernate or get operated on.
bought new ink from coop today: Parker Quink in black. fun. its simply fun to use the converter to suck up ink. cartridges are convenient but boring. looking forward to using brown ink too, like Noodler’s insane ink varieties. now i can imagine why josh would have stained fingers. bulletproof inks. din manage to fill the converter fully though, well, first try.
now for the long hard bid to alter my default handwriting.
