one week after i got my expwensive pen, im really getting into writing with it. amazingly its addictive
good points: solid and lovely construction of the pen as opposed to normal cheap plastic; reassuring heft; smooth flow of ink without requiring pressure on the paper; feels natural to hold the pen properly
bad points: fear of spoiling it; my first ink-filling wasnt done properly so there were too many air bubbles in it.
im kinda surprised at how easily i picked up the ‘proper’ pen-holding pose. it actually feels kinda right and natural with the Fountain Pen. when i use a cheap ballpoint pen, it’s harder to hold due to the lightweight pen. and the normal pens require more force to write with, thus requiring a stronger grip.
i also get more confused between normal and cursive writing. writing in full cursive seems rather too much for daily use. need to find a nice handwriting to learn.
