new york i love you

on a spur-of-the-moment change-of-plans impatience i went to watch the movie of the above title alone. the first film paris je t’aime was great, and i would recommend it to my friends, if only just because i think that they either know paris, or can tahan weird films. its a collection of short films anyway, designed to capture the life of a city, its people, how they love the city, and romance in general in the city. in totally bizarre ways. but hey, dont you feel that your own love life is unique too?

alright, so anyway the new york i<3u film. well i wouldnt say i totally loved it. i dunno. maybe its just new york. or american culture. it just makes me sigh. perhaps i was wondering whats up with all the sex and sexual language. *rolls eyes* i hope that their idea of dating and romance isnt just about sex, whatever the reality is.

spoilers ahead, sortof.

i felt the paris one was more bizarre and out of the world. but well it is a french film ya know. still, both are better than other hollywood entertainment.
