one week after i got my expwensive pen, im really getting into writing with it. amazingly its addictive
good points: solid and lovely construction of the pen as opposed to normal cheap plastic; reassuring heft; smooth flow of ink without requiring pressure on the paper; feels natural to hold the pen properly
bad points: fear of spoiling [...]

Waterman Expert II

introducing my latest indulgence: ze Waterman Expert II fountain pen in matte black with a Fine nib. such a delight to write with it.
surprised myself by spending all my takashimaya vouchers and more. definitely much much prettier than the lamy safari which is only like $46. although i like the lamy 2000 very much too. [...]

took out my Rotring Newton to play. It’s a descendant of the Rotring 600 series, although the older ones looked real technical and evil. This one is rather pretty and chromey. Pity that it is only available in medium nib, i think i would prefer a fine nib. still, it is a gift from zera.
