it’s just such a nice feeling to be able to say “merci, au revoir” to immigration officers and shopkeepers. i mean, after all those ‘grumpy’ looking people in poland. well the not-grumpy ones are the english speakers who are catered to tourists.

i suppose this deserves a separate post by itself because i am really impressed by the public buses here. they have arrival times displayed at the busstops, they have retractable ramps for wheelchair users, they have foldable seats just like the metro so that more ppl can squeeze onto the buses, they have labelled areas [...]

i miss going to Champs_Élysées and Châtelet. but i was just there like two weeks ago. withdrawal symptoms. i guess i can’t stand staying in my room and knowing that things are happening out there, buskers are jumping on and off trains, superb photo moments are passing by on the streets, and all that.
