ended up buying a camera bag. so bad. ze Kata DR-466i, which comes in a nice black texture, chrome yellow interior!!, lots of pockets, nice zips, nice buckles, heavy padding, and surprising sleekness for so much capacity. and it fits my 70-200 mounted, sideways.

Tada. Say hello to my $125 lens. It’s somewhat stodgy but also rather cute in a way.

I am starting to like Digital Photo Professional quite abit, the bundled canon photo-editing software. The one that can manipulate RAW files. Nice things I discovered include:
ability to compare Before and After pictures
saving of set of manipulated settings as a ‘recipe’ and reapplying it to other photos
Batch Process function which allows for finalizing of edits [...]
you know something, all those photos that i say are very nice? you should view them in Full-Screen! Even better if you have widescreen HD. haha. no, seriously if you only view it on a 1024×768 lcd, you can’t appreciate how insanely good these cameras and lenses are.
